Ted passed away Wednesday 14th January 2026 in the evening at Q.A Hospital, the Saturday before he seemed to be exhausted at his flat in Denmead and was admitted to hospital on the Monday.
Fortunately he was given his own room as the corridors were full of patients.
He was being well looked after but results from tests showed that he had pneumonia, lung cancer and heart failure.
Wednesday evening he slipped away, luckily the girls were with him in his final moments.
Very sad time and he’ll be sorely missed. But we all have very fond memories.

We had a get together to celebrate Ted’s life, it took place at the Marina Bar Cafe in Eastney with an afternoon tea.
Philip is missing from the picture below as he had to leave.
