Had a small invasion in the garden this Spring/Summer, probably nesting under the shed.
8 in total, which consists of 2 humanely captured and taken to Hillbrow, 1 by a magpie, 1 by air-rifle (point blank as it was trapped in the trap) and 4 killed by trap.
Hopefully we’ve seen the last of them for awhile.
Blue-tits have been nesting in our nest box but never saw chicks or had the busy feeding stage, so whether it was aborted who knows!
