Tonight we said goodbye to Maisy, she had had a few nasty lumps which had rapidly got worse over the last week. After seeing the vets last week we kept her at home with painkillers but she started going off her food, tonight it felt the timing was right as it looked as if she was struggling.
Born 2nd August 2012, we picked her up from Gerry Hart in Lewes on the 21st September 2012. At that time we had Molly who we’d also got from Gerry, both dogs were a terrier mix and Maisy like Molly was particularly feisty.

Typical Maisy, she just got on with it and was a brilliant mother. Rupes, Monty and Dotty was the last to go.
November 2016 she met Barney the toy poodle and 30th December 2016 she went into labour, this was less plain sailing with 1 still-born, but two fine puppies, both boys and named Rupes and Sooty. Again Maisy was a brilliant mum. Rupes went to Margaret & Peter and was named Rupert, with Sooty going to Phil & Gaby who named him Rocky.
Poppy arrived Friday 16th August 2019 and her and Maisy got on like a house on fire, she played with her less as she got older but they were always together.
