Short break with Ali and Chris plus dogs.
Stayed at Speech House Hotel right in the heart of the forest.
Went to Gloucester on the way up, nothing special, checked in at the hotel, went for a walk in the forest.
Dinner in the shed.
Saturday – went for a walk down to the lake.
Then Symonds Yat rock, then river for lunch and walk.
Sunday – Checked out, stopped off at Bath for a wander and then home.
Food at hotel pretty good.
Rooms very 2*, restaurant staff very good.
