Myself, Gilly, Tom, Philip, Gaby, Rocky, Molly and Maisy all went to stay in one of the Dream Lodges in Cambridge for the bank holiday weekend. The lodge was situated in between Cambridge and Ely and we arrived around lunchtime with Phil & Gaby a bit later, the lodge was very close to the river Cam and was complete with hot-tub. Lots of walks, chilling out and also trips to Cambridge and Ely.
Cambridge was very nice and a lovely place just to wander around, especially down by the river where people were relaxing and punting on the river, we hired one and opted not to go for one of the organised tours and do it ourselves, how difficult can it be? Turns out it was not as easy as it looks and it quickly turned into a game of dodgems!
Ely was very pretty with a huge Cathedral dominating the centre.
Myself and Tom went for a run on one of the mornings and were chased by cows, the drone also got an airing.
Blessed by very warm sunshine made for a very pleasant weekend.
