Myself, Tom and Trevor took part in this years triathlon, interesting day with lots of mistakes but also lots of positives. Tom did exceptionally well with a very good swim, decent ride and very good run. Trevor did the best of the trio but this was mainly down to his transition times which were much better than mine and Toms.
My swim was steady, pretty good bike ride and a run which was also steady. My first transition was a bit of a mess what with a rebellious jersey.
Total number of competitors was around 270, so our placings were very respectable.
Not having number belts for myself and Tom was an oversight as it meant having to wear a separate jersey to pin the numbers onto.
Enjoyable event but even though sprint distance still quite tough combining all the disciplines.
