Tom today completed the London marathon, this post originally designed to celebrate the fact that Tom completed this event in the sweltering heat was completely overshadowed by the devastating news that his close friend from MasterChef died at the 21 mile mark, suffering from a heart attack. Words cannot describe how I feel about this as in the very short time I had known him I had seen him to be an extremely talented and likeable person. Life is extremely cruel and this is such a tragedy for Matt and his family. He was destined for great things.
