With Ali & Chris
Day 1 Saturday: Travel day, hotel Alau Sol, Cala D’Or
Day 2 Sunday: Walk down to Marina
Warm but cloudy, Swim in the sea, , Evening walk down to Marina, Chris had dodgy tummy so had to abandon the trip to Cala Mallorca.
Day 3 Monday: Myself and Chris picked up the bikes, did a 30 mile loop taking in San Salvador, as soon as we got to the top it started to rain, not heavy but rain nonetheless. Had taken the drone but rain stopped play.
Day 4 Tuesday: Bigger ride today taking in Randa, nice day so far, coffee stop at the top and even got the drone out on the way down. Windy on the way back plus heavy drizzle made for a tough ride back. 66 miles. Tired. Giant Propels (advanced) have been very good, light stiff and a perfect fit, ML.
Back into Cala D’Or to drop the bikes off and a mouch around the shops.
Day 5 Wednesday: Bright, warm and sunny day. Spent day by the pool, swimming & snorkelling in the warm and clear sea.
Ala Carte meal which was nice and made a change from the buffet. The Spanish equivalent of Baileys went down very well and the evening ended with Ali in a giggling fit!
Day 6 Thursday: Started off bright and early for me and went down by the old fort before sunrise, took the drone, canon and GoPro and took plenty of footage as the sun was rising. Went for breakfast and then we all walked down to Porto Pello was a very pleasant small costal village. Back to the hotel for an afternoon of sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling.
Day 7 Friday: Taxi to Cala mondrago which was lovely, beach in a forest. Bus back and then more sea, sun and snorkelling.
Day 8 Saturday: Home time
Nice weather for most of the time, fun company and nice food and drink made for a nice relaxing break.
