Phil competed in the JP’s Sussex Border Race today, a race for E,1,2 & 3 categories. It was a very hilly race with some very strong riders, coming down Harting Hill one rider decided he’d had enough and slid off course hitting a log, luckily he was relatively ok although he was taken to hospital with a suspected broken pelvis.
Phil finished 15th out of approx. 45 and got some prize money for finishing top 2nd cat rider. The race was won by Wouter Sybrandy from Sigma Sport.
