Following dad’s 70th bash and then Gaby’s 21st birthday party the night before, getting up this morning was a struggle to participate in the seasonal Tour of the Lod Valley.
Bright but fresh morning made for a freezing downhill and hot uphill timetrial! Finished with a reasonable 1:05 and part of the winning team with Seb & Charlie, by the very close margin of 2 seconds from VC St. Raphael!
However the £5 prize money was quickly swallowed up after losing my Polar computer out on the course!
