Our club …a3crg organised this National event and Phil lined up with Seb Ader & Graeme Stirzaker while I teamed up with Trevor & Andy Lovell. My team rode very smoothly and finished in 14th place in 1:29:05, whilst not super fast still placed in front of rivals Team Axiom and our on paper better team of Paddy and all.
Phil’s team meanwhile finished in 7th place in 1:21:25, Phil struggled a bit with his asthma and the team would have probably moved up a couple of places if he’d been on top form, even so still a very good performance.
In all though some good performances on a very tough hilly course.
