Both of todays races were promoted by our team …a3crg. Phil raced in the afternoon in the 1st/2nd & 3rd Cat. race over 70 miles and up Milland Hill ten times! The bunch split early on which left 12 riders in front with Phil in this group, a hard pace was set and Phil managed an excellent 7th behind the winner Richard Symmonds. I had the job of driving the commissaire at the back of the peloton, which was a touch dull.
