It’s been a fun packed Summer so far, with lunch at Smith & Westerns with Phil, Gaby, Skylar and Clare. This Western theme restaurant was really good fun.
To celebrate Jodies birthday, on the Sunday before her birthday. Myself, Gilly, Paul, Ali, Chris, Jesse, Ben, Brendan and Clare after lunch at Jodies went into Southampton. First stop was the Doom Bar, this was great fun with shuffle board and Augmented Reality darts. Second stop was the Escape Room which was good fun although shame as we had to split into 2 teams and do different events.
The weather warmed up nicely and we had a few trips to the Queens Head for a beer!
We missed out on the Northern Lights!
Afternoon Tea at Goodwood House, this was a present from Clare, very interesting and a pleasant afternoon.
As a 35th wedding anniversary present from Ali & Chris we all went to the Pub in the Park at Marlow (Sunday), this was a food and music festival, it was a great event with lots of nice food, great weather and some fab music. Rick Parfitt Jnr was brilliant playing some great rock tunes, followed by Scouting for Girls although we missed most of this while eating, the finale was Paloma Faith who was very good. Her performance was marred slightly by hand bags at dawn by a few people jostling for position, we had a great spot at the front but moved away for the last few tunes as it was about to kick off. Great day though!
